Madison is 1!!! Happy Birthday!!!

I can't believe it, that little bitty baby I brought home from the hospital is already a year old!! Where has the time gone!!! She is walking all over the place and getting into everything!! I can't believe how much she has learned in just one short year!!

We had her birthday party last weekend and it was a lot of fun!!! She got a few toys but mostly savings bonds that we will put away for later!!

Also Timmy started the 1st grade last week!! As of right now he is loving it and can't wait for the teacher to teach him to spell and read!! Plus he is playing flag football a couple of nights a week and is really enjoying it!!!

Where has the time gone!!!

It has been so long since I have updated this we have been so busy!!! The summer is just flying by - I can't believe that Madison will be one in less than two weeks and Timmy will be going back to school!! Timmy is ready to go back to school and get back into the swing of things!! He started flag football practice last week and he is loving it!! Right now they have him playing quarterback!!

Madison is getting busy!! She this week has just started to walk without assistance!! A couple of steps here and there!! It will not be long and she will be running to keep up with her bigger brother!

We have been busy this summer - we have been going to the local parks hiking and taking in the scenery!! We did the Laura Ingalls Wilder day at the local museum and dressed the kids up!!

This weekend we are going to Baltimore - John and Timmy are taking in a Yankees game and Maddy and I are going to be hanging at the hotel relaxing in the pool!!

We had a busy weekend!!!

Last Friday we went drove out to Ohio to spend the weekend at Cedar Point. We stayed at a hotel with a water park inside and the kids had a blast!! Timmy and Maddy's stepbrother Matt and his girlfriend Kim went with us!!

We went to Cedar Point on Sat. and not to much fun for Timmy he was too short to ride most of the rides and the roller coasters!!! The one roller coaster he could ride broke down on us and we had to be rescued!!! But we went back and rode it later in the day!! We did find some rides that he could ride and he ended up having a blast!!

On Sunday we spent the day at Splash City - it was an outdoor waterpark that is part of Cedar Point. Both kids had fun playing in the water all day!!! Than it was back into the car for a 6 hour drive home!!

Everyone had a great time!! Poor Daddy he got sunburned really bad and especially the top of his feet - they were really sore by the time we got home!!!

Oh so much going on

We have been sooo busy the past few weeks that I haven't had a chance to get on here and post anything new.

The first thing is that Timmy graduated from Kindergarten at the end of June!! He was so cute standing up there and getting his little diploma!! They sang a bunch of songs and than did a slide show presentation!! He was very excited and now he gets to move on to the 1st grade. He had his last baseball game last weekend and is very sad that the season is coming to an end!! Next is flag football and that starts in Aug!!!





Now Madison she turned 10 months on the 29th of June!! She is doing so much now!! She is crawling and getting into everything - she really loves to play in the toilet!! She is blowing kisses, giving hugs and kisses, pulling herself up and she has just started to let go of things and standing on her own!! She loves to be outside and playing!! I bought her a water table and she loves it!! She spends most of her day either playing in the water table or in the sandbox!!

We had a good July 4th!!! Took Madison to see fireworks but she was so exhausted from a busy day that she watched them for about five minutes and than fell asleep with Grandma!!!

June 17th

I know I haven't updated lately - so I thought I would do it today since Madison is taking a nap!!!

Madison had her 9 month check up last Monday and she is doing great!! She weighed in at 18 lbs 2 ounces and measures 28 inches long!!! Her new thing is to blow kisses - we went to dinner last night and while I was eating ice cream she was blowing kisses to everyone!!

Timmy is getting excited about school almost being over!! He only has about 6 more days and he is done!! He gets to graduate from K next Tues and he is excited about going to 1st grade. He really doesn't have any plans for the summer except to go to camp at museum with Kate for the week!! And he is looking forward to going to Baltimore to see the Yankees in Aug.

Well Madison turned 9 months old on the 29th of May - I can't believe how fast time flies, it feels like just yesterday I was coming home from the hospital with her!! Now she is crawling and into everything - especially the cat food!! The other day I let her play in the sandbox and she loved it. We have been working on waving bye bye and clapping - she can do them when she wants to but it has to be on her terms!! She loves to be outside and it would be all day if I would let her!!!

Timmy is playing baseball again this year, he has moved up to coach pitch and is loving it!! His team name this year is the St. Louis Cardinals!! He plays short stop, pitcher, first base and second base. There are also a couple more weeks of school left and than my little boy will be graduating from K and moving up to 1st grade.
